UPDATES

Thank you for making our Celebration of Thanks  a success on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Mercato Italian Antiques & Artifacts, 33071 W. 83rd St., DeSoto, Kansas, from 5 – 7:30 pm. Thanks again to Mary Lies for hosting our celebration.

Construction:  funds  were donated by several donors specifically to build an office for Friends of St. Anne’s in Kapkemich, Kenya out of which Simon will continue to manage our work in Kenya; and, more recently, to build a healthcare skills laboratory and clinic dedicated to the memory of Virginia Wright.

Honorary Scholarships:  In 2015, the Friends of St. Anne’s Board of Directors established scholarships in honor of friends and family.  If you’d like to establish such a scholarship, please contact us.

Student Scholarships:  Thanks to the generosity of Friends, 8 of our scholarship recipients completed their post-secondary education in 2015. 28 post-secondary scholarships have been awarded so far in 2016; with 3 pending for a later start date. The 2016 scholarships for St. Anne’s students will be awarded May 1. In 2015, 67 scholarships were granted at St. Anne’s Girls’ School and at post-secondary institutions.

Looking forward to dreams achieved
